Terms and Conditions – Events & Weddings

Quotes & Pricing

All quotes produced by Ruby Oak Floristry are valid for thirty (30) days from the date issued.

Prices may vary after this period due to seasonal availability and market fluctuations.

Postponements & Rescheduling

If you need to postpone or reschedule your event, Ruby Oak Floristry will happily work with you

to accommodate a new date, subject to availability. If a new date cannot be accommodated,

the original deposit will remain non-refundable. Please note that rescheduled events may be

subject to revised pricing based on current market costs.

Design, Seasonal Availability & Substitutions

All florals are designed based on inspiration images and information provided by the client.

Ruby Oak Floristry will fulfil the client's vision to the best of our ability. Due to seasonal

availability, weather conditions, and natural variation, we cannot guarantee exact flower

varieties, colours, or shades. Where necessary, suitable substitutions may be made to ensure

the overall look, quality, and value are maintained.

Flower Care, Weather & Handling

Ruby Oak Floristry uses flowers of the utmost quality and takes every care to maximise

freshness and longevity. Flowers are a perishable natural product and are sensitive to

environmental conditions such as heat, wind, rain, and direct sunlight. Ruby Oak Floristry

cannot be held responsible for deterioration caused by weather conditions or handling by third

parties, including venues, guests, or suppliers.

Installation, Access & Venue Conditions

The client is responsible for ensuring clear and timely access to the venue for installation and

collection of any hired items. Ruby Oak Floristry is not responsible for delays, reduced

installations, or incomplete setups caused by restricted access, late venue access, or venue

limitations.

Responsibility After Installation

Once florals have been installed or delivered, responsibility for the arrangements transfers to

the client. Ruby Oak Floristry is not responsible for damage, movement, adjusting, removal, or

interference by guests, venue staff, or other third parties.

Booking & Payments

A non-refundable deposit of thirty percent (30%) is required to secure your booking with Ruby

Oak Floristry. Full payment of the remaining balance is required no later than two (2) weeks

prior to the event date. Cancellations made within two (2) weeks of the event date will result in

the forfeiture of the full payable amount.

Order Changes

Any changes to an agreed order after quote acceptance must be requested in writing and are

subject to availability and additional charges. Changes requested within two (2) weeks of the

event date cannot be guaranteed.

Hire Items

All hire items remain the property of Ruby Oak Floristry. Full recommended retail price (RRP)

will be charged for any hired items that are damaged, broken, lost, or not returned. Hire items

must be available for collection at the agreed time and returned in their original condition. Late,

inaccessible, or missing items may incur additional fees.

Flower Collection & Disposal

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Ruby Oak Floristry is not responsible for the removal,

redistribution, or disposal of florals following the event.

Photography & Promotion

Ruby Oak Floristry reserves the right to photograph all floral arrangements and installations for

portfolio, website, and promotional use. Images may be edited or cropped. No identifying client

details will be shared without permission.

Force Majeure

Ruby Oak Floristry shall not be held liable for failure to perform its obligations due to

circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather

events, natural disasters, supplier or courier disruptions, road closures, illness, accidents, or

government restrictions.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies

available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Acceptance of Terms

By accepting a quote or proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge and agree to all Terms

and Conditions outlined by Ruby Oak Floristry.
