What areas do you deliver to?
Ruby Oak Floristry delivers flowers and gifts all throughout the Illawarra, from Helensburgh to Shellharbour. 

How are delivery charges determined?

Delivery charges vary from suburb to suburb. Delivery to local suburbs close our Fairy Meadow store start at $10 delivery, with the max delivery fee being $25 for suburbs at the furthest point to our florist such as Shellharbour and Helensburgh. Is in-store pick up available for orders purchased online?

Yes, you can opt to pick-up your flowers from our Fairy Meadow store. At the checkout page, simply fill out your billing details and untick the option that states ‘deliver to a different address’. This will then allow you to select the pickup option and your preferred pickup date. If you would like to pick your flowers up at a specific time, write this in the ‘additional notes’ section and we will make sure we have the flowers ready to go.

Can I pick a delivery time?

As of right now, we don’t provide the option to pick a delivery time. We always aim to have all our flower orders delivered ASAP, with the last orders for the day being delivered at approximately 4pm at the latest. If the flowers are being delivered to a business, put the required delivery time in the ‘additional notes’ section and we will make sure we meet this request.

Can I make requests or substitutions to my order?

Of course! If you are after a specific colour palette or simply want to change out a gift for a different one, feel free to give us a call and let us know or pop your requests in the ‘additional notes’ section and we will do our very best to ensure this is met 🙂

Can I get same-day delivery?

Yes, we offer same day delivery for all orders placed before 1pm. If you just miss the cut-off time, feel free to give our florists a call on 02 4285 6786 and we will do our very best to make it work.

What happens after I place an order?

After you place your flower order, you will first receive a email confirmation showing you the details of your order. On the date of your delivery, you will receive a text message with a photo of your flower bouquet before it heads out for delivery. Then finally, once your flowers have been delivered, you will get a confirmation email letting you know the order is now complete.

Can I make a change to my order?

Yes, you can make a change to your order provided enough notice is given. At Ruby Oak Floristry, we are generally pretty accomodating with this! Providing the flower bouquet has not been made and/or delivered, we will happily accomodate a change at no extra cost. Sometimes this may not be possible or additional charges may apply. Will my flowers be left if no one is home?

If nobody is home, we will leave the flowers in the safe place at the front door if it is possible to do so. Unfortunately this is not always possible, especially if the flowers are being delivered to a unit block. If the flowers can not be left at the recipient’s address, we will bring the flowers back to the shop and attempt to get in contact with the recipient to arrange a re-delivery. This may result is an additional delivery cost at the expense of the sender.

Will you contact the recipient?

We will contact the recipient if we are unable to leave the flowers in a safe place at their door, or if the address provided by the sender turns out to be incorrect. If we are unable to reach the recipient, we will contact the sender and work together to come to a resolution.

Can you deliver at a specific time to a funeral?

Yes, we offer a range of sympathy bouquets as well as funeral wreaths. We are very experienced in funeral arrangements and will deliver to the funeral home at least 2 hours before the required time. We ask that you input the funeral time and the location in the ‘additional notes’ section at the checkout. Is the arrangement in the photo exactly what will be delivered?

Each bouquet of flowers is unique and subject to change due to flower availability and seasonal availability. Our expert florists will always create an amazing bouquet as close to the product image as possible, however the types of flowers used in the bouquet will change as the seasons change.
